Tourist information centre of Dundaga municipality issued a new booklet containing information on attractions, accommodations, as well as handicrafts and agricultural goods at Dundaga and its immediate vicinity. The booklet includes an interesting map of Dundaga!
 THE LIV COAST
The Livs, Liv traditions, the Liv coast – these are the roots and memories of many. For others, it is everyday reality. For most, it is something mystical, romantic, unknown and appears today as a revelation. This book is a testament and reminder to the current and future generations of Liv coast.
 THE CASTLE OF DUNDAGA
The building of the castle dates back to the third quarter of the 13th century. The oldest survived written document which mentioned Dundaga castle for the first time was dated by the year 1318 and it was connected with the attack towards the castle.

In the Slitere National Park, except for restricted areas, you may walk freely
through it to look for plants, animals and landscapes, to pick mushrooms and
berries, to go swimming (except at Kolkasrags, where it is dangerous), to get a suntan, to ride a bike or a boat.

In the booklet you can find information about Dundaga and its significant objects: the castle, the park, the church and "Crocodile", as well as the objects in the near neighbourhood: Kubalu school, Valpene pyramid, Liepniekvalks caves and Puiškalns hill.
